Update on stolen YouTube video

This is what happened and I kind of thought, this was the case.

Under, video management, we have settings. If you go to, ADVANCED SETTINGS, you will see two options. One option is, STANDARD YOUTUBE LICENSE, which means, you ARE NOT GIVING PERMISSION, for other people to use or upload your video. Second option is, CREATIVE COMMONS-ATTRIBUTIONS, which means, you ARE GIVING PERMISSION for people to use or upload your video.

The video, that, I claimed was stolen, had the Creative Commons-Attributions, selected. Therefore, they had a right to post it on their channel.

I made a copywriters infringement claim, against, the person who had my video. YouTube contacted me, via email, and explained, that, they cannot honor my request to have my video removed, due to the selected, Creative Commons.

I kind of thought that, too, because, on my other videos, that was not selected. When, I selected that option, I didn't know what I was doing, at the time. I was, simply, playing with some buttons and saw this little odd symbol next to my titles and didn't realize what that meant.

I tried to read up on, what, Creative Commons, meant, but, it was foreign to me and I didn't understand it, at that time. That was 2 years, ago, but now, since I have more experience and knowledge, I figured it out.

I went and changed my settings back to, STANDARD YOUTUBE LICENSE, but YouTube said, since, it was not selected at the time, they uploaded my video, it was too late. I had already given, permission. In other words, they have every right to use my video.

I went through all of my videos and made sure, everything is correct.

Pros
I learned how to protect my videos
That YouTuber is actually, help promote my channel, because, viewers will come to my channel.
They ain't making no money on my video.
Taught me to put my username, throughout, my video. That tends to make the user, not, to want your video, because, they want their viewers to think, it's their own video and not yours.
I look pretty throughout the video. lol

Cons
My video is on a whack ass channel, with, poor quality.
I worked long hours on that video, for somebody to just use it, for free.
Hard lesson learned.

Oh, well! Next!
